To Whom It May Concern – Left right Left right

Those who are counting the crowd length, comparing crowd of PAT and PTI and making it like a competition, with due diligence providing insight of their political wisdom that how sad it is of these long march participants to make Islamabad stand still; are sadly not on board at all to understand the very reason why these marches originated at first place. The charm of social media is that we can very conveniently see general perception of youth about new happenings in our politics. But what is discouraging or shocking is that just to prove ourselves right we tend to deny the very fact that we are in misery, we are suffering, we are not proud of being Pakistanis (ask overseas fellows about this as they face humiliation every day due to the image depicted by our Government). Some friends ask me why PTI protesting after one and a half year when they didn’t even perform in KPK themselves, or why TUQ striving for revolution when PAT didn’t even contest elections or are not even in Parliament. The comments don’t just stop here I also hear and read questions like why IK when he has scandals, ex jew wife, used SKMH funds for personal use, Why TUQ striving when he is not even “pure” Pakistani, his dreams and other propagandas… my question to all of them is… “Why Not?” Why not IK or TUQ to change the destiny of your and my next generation? Why not IK or TUQ when they are raising a voice against this corrupt system which is the very reason for our disappointment in world at first place? Why not IK or TUQ when everything they are saying is RIGHT but everything happening or has happened since 60 years is mostly wrong? Why not most of you or for that matter even me as soon as an opportunity is available abroad wont prefer to stay in Pakistan and pursue our career here… BECAUSE at the very back of our mind WE know what the reality is. We know that we have been suffering from the tyranny of democratic dictatorship but we don’t have time to change anything about it. That’s what generation before us did and that’s what we are going to do and that’s what our next generation will do… suffer and spend their time on this planet and find ways to live their own lives. We do not think as a Nation what Quaid-e-Azam thought once. So when such voices like IK and TUQ come out, it becomes very easy for our conscious to start blaming them and make conspiracy theories and find ways to assassinate their characters just because we don’t want to do any effort as that takes some sweat and blood. We are caught in a disease of procrastination to such an extent that if it was humanly possible we would delay breathing for one day to avoid any struggle or effort! We need to wake up and stop being a hypocrite to ourselves, to our future generation as future won’t forgive us. By the way most of the people on social media do not suffer from this everyday misery… it’s the people who literally don’t have any charm in life to be on social media who suffer and die every day. I humbly request all of you to wake up and realise that we need to grow like a nation and all developed nations have been through this depression once but they rose up with a combined coordinated struggle. Our constitution is very prestigious and honourable but people managing its implementation are not! Time to say the truth to whoever it may concern.

2010 - 1431 Hijri

2010 - 1431 Hijri

Original Post Date: December 30, 2010 at 10:19am (#Facebook)

Another year passed by with all months full of days and all days full of hours of smiles and happiness, joys and sorrows. I think it is same every year. The only difference is our approach to live through these moments. This difference comes with number of years one has spent in this world. Some call it wisdom, some may refer to it as maturity however I define it as "knowing the reality". Just like always, this year brought many new things in my life - two of my brothers got beautiful daughters, year started with remarkable changes from Pilgrimidge to Mecca for Haj, got a good appraisal with few bonus, my Fiance's good results in her medical academics, winning the hearts of our parents and many more. And since life is an example of equilibrium, there were sorrows mixed with joys that really made difference. I lost a very good cousin (Tariq bhai) who was a kind hearted soul that I knew, I lost hundreds of Pakistanis because of terrible flood, terrorism, extreme economic burden, felt the pain that how we are just living our lives without caring for our identity, our country and how mean we are when we think about it. I also found deep inside me twinge I have for human sufferings. This year was a blend of all tastes and as I said it has always been the same since Day 1 on earth. It is me who just realized all this in this year! Now when I look at 2011/1432 Hijri, it is full of new things, excitement, ambiguities hidden in surprises which have "fear and wonder" as a powerful combination and which do give one a reason to be proactive and plan. I will pray and wish to be an obedient son, loving brother for my family, a trustworhty friend and a perfect husband! I for sure know that it gets tougher with every passing day but in the end isnt that what we all look forward to? I probably need to stick to the right path by getting closer to the reason I am here for on this earth. And to conclude...

Many years have passed by
How many years more to go?
If I could find a reason to give you a smile
I will do anything to do so.

Happy New Year!

Ode to Life

Ode to Life

Original Post Date: October 23, 2010 at 2:12pm (#Facebook)
Some things in life are really beautiful. We don’t realise about them because every one of us is so busy in our lives. The beauty of life is hidden in the moments of joys and sorrows that we experience in every day of our lives. They are like untold feelings that we have when we are not thinking about them. Just imagine about another soul that some how felt happiness and pure sense of joy because of any act of kindness by you. It is exactly the same feeling that you or I will have if some one we love says something to us that we want to hear and we want to experience. Imagine how that happiness for that other person can bring joy within your own heart if we can only feel the gravity of that. There are millions of people out there who are pure and who need some one for something, who are waiting for some assistance or a gentle push to reach their destination. A destination we all have in our hearts that we think is the place we want to be. If you ask me to define the most contended human life it would be the one spent to make lives of other human joyful, contended, bright and beautiful. And like that one can live for ever. I always wondered how can one live forever in any one's heart, because with time things fade away. But now after focusing on distributed thoughts I am finally beginning to converge to a conclusion that it is indeed possible to live forever. Love mankind and give them a reason to smile. If we just look around our selves, we will find alot of souls who can give us the freedom to live in their hearts by our simple act of kindness and that may be in no matter what ever form. It is the character ethics I am deeply infatuated with and that with which we all should finally fell in love. I am glad to donate myself to world if it contributes to the joys no matter if it is during the life or after. It should be our Ode to life.
